It all started in 1999.
I remember looking at the early start-pages of the internet and thinking, "I could probably build that myself." While most people were still figuring out how to get online, I was reading articles in physical newspapers about a new concept called "affiliate marketing."
I took those paper-based lessons and applied them to the digital world—back when "keyword stuffing" was a legitimate strategy and I was learning how to command the attention of early search engines.
The transition from hobby to business happened fast. While my peers were negotiating for a higher weekly allowance, I was busy scaling my first affiliate projects. By middle school, my digital commissions were already significantly higher than the pocket money I got from my parents.
AI caught my interest back in 2017 when Lyra Bird AI launched and I discovered IBM Watson. But it wasn't until ChatGPT arrived that things really took off. By early 2023 I "vibe coded" BurnBacon—my first AI project—exploring how agents could collaborate and share memory. Strange to think it's already been three years. The tools keep evolving, but the curiosity that drove me in 1999 is the same one pushing me forward today.
The Beginning
Grabbed my first free .com domains during the dot-com bubble. Built encyclopedia sites, learned SEO before it had a name.
Award-winning Wizardry
Won awards from a major Norwegian publisher for Harry Potter sites. Digital commissions surpassed my allowance by middle school.
First Online Store
Launched my first e-commerce store. Learned the hard lessons of inventory, logistics, and customer support firsthand.
Gadgets & Coupons
Opened my second online store—a gadget shop—while building a network of successful coupon and discount sites.
The Agency Exit
Founded a media and web agency. Worked with Norway's biggest brands. Built a team, scaled the business, then sold it.
The AI Pivot
Discovered AI's potential when Lyra Bird AI and Watson caught my attention in 2017. When ChatGPT arrived, things really took off. By 2023, I vibe coded BurnBacon—my first AI project—exploring how agents could work together with shared memory. Three years later, it's hard to imagine building any other way.
Wedding
Married Mari Falkenberg at Thorskog Castle in the summer of 2024.
Dad
Became a dad for the first time in 2025.
